Mr. Hannah Leighton

Mr. Leighton was a life member of the Fish & Game Club, a 50-year member of Seaside Lodge #144 AF & AM, and was master of the lodge in 1961, '62, '89, and '90.He was District 10 Representative of the Grand Lodge of Maine in 1992 and 1993, and was mason of the year at Seaside Lodge #144 in 1999.Mr. Leighton was past president of Seaside Riders Snowmobile Club and the Down Easters #1 Camping group, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Boothbay Harbor United Methodist Church for which he did a lot of volunteer work.He and Curtis West put on bean hole bean suppers for 45 years, Easter breakfast for 35 years and lobster stew suppers.He also put on lobster bakes for the Rotary Club and his camping group, Down Easters #1.

He was a member of the Boothbay Region Senior Citizens and enjoyed his three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
