At age 16, Olivia Lee has been politically active since she first started attending Gore-Lieberman events in 2000.She is the President of the Walnut High School Young Democrats (WHSYD) and the High School Liaison for the California Young Democrats.She also serves as the two-term Secretary of her Assembly District Committee for the California Democratic Party.She previously served as the Secretary and the Political Director of WHSYD.In 2003, Olivia became the youngest honoree to receive the Los Angeles County Democratic Party Eleanor Roosevelt Democrat of the Year Award.

Olivia has worked on numerous statewide and local political campaigns as a volunteer organizer and spends much of her time actively encouraging young people to become politically involved.Though underage, she has actively registered many new citizens and young people to vote because she believes that every vote counts.In her non-political life, she serves as the Walnut High School Theater Head Usher and as a mentor to elementary school kids.
