   Jeff Lederman has been a wildlife rehabilitator since the 1980's. Working his way from New Mexico to British Columbia, he has worked at many wildlife facilities across the US and Canada. Jeff's extensive experience includes indigenous North American species ranging from birds of prey to marine mammals. Studying alternative medicine all the while, Jeff was preparing for the day when he would build his own centre. In the Spring of 1997, he realized that ambition when he founded Island Wildlife Natural Care Centre on Salt Spring Island. Jeff has published articles in the Journal of American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, Homeopathy Today, the publication of the National Centre for Homeopathy, has received a grant from the Homeopathic Community Council and been awarded for environmental stewardship in the Gulf Islands.
