   Prior to founding LL&Co, Matt spent seven years with Southcoast Capital, most recently as a managing director and the director of corporate finance. While at Southcoast Capital, Matt was involved in a wide variety of corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements of equity and debt, initial and follow-on public offerings and others. Prior to Southcoast Capital, Matt was a partner in the business section of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere and Denegre, one of the region's largest law firms. Matt received a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Tulane University. In addition to serving as a director/trustee of several private entities, Matt is a member of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute.
