   As the son of a prominent educator, Richard Leconte, he acquired a deep appreciation for education at a young age. After completing his bachelor's degree in civil engineering and specialization degree in science of development, he went on to a successful career in education. He has founded a junior and senior high school, Centre de Formation Classique et Economique where he serves as acting principal. He has also founded his own university, University Ruben Leconte. He is currently serving as general administrator of Institut Superieur Technique d' Haiti, the first private university in Haiti, founded by his father, Richard Leconte.
