Traci Lebofsky, a consultant for GiftsMadePersonal.com, has a daughter who was diagnosed with a facial hemangioma at one month of age.This benign tumor affects 40,000 infants and children each year.Since her diagnosis, the hemangioma located between Gioia's eyes has gotten bigger.Doctors were concerned that it would obstruct breathing but an eight-month course of steroids kept the tumor in check."As a parent, it is heart-wrenching for me not knowing when or if the tumor will grow again," states Ms. Lebofsky.
