Mr. John Leboffe

GSL Founder John Leboffe has developed strong expertise and experience in Build-Operate-Transfer project management for companies and local entities seeking increased marketing presence and sales penetration.Clients have included manufacturers and service providers as diverse as: apparel and accessories, arts and culture, home improvement, health and fitness, food products as well as travel related services and ship and boat builders and suppliers. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) in 1951, he has lived in Italy for more than 15 years.He is fluent in Italian, the Neapolitan dialect and English.He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.From 1970 through 1974, he served in the United States Coast Guard. In 1980, following three years with the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C., Mr. Leboffe established his own business specializing in marketing, project planning and logistics-related services.He worked throughout the 1980s as a consultant on the export of industrial products and services to Third World countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, Burma and Thailand.Mr. Leboffe has traveled extensively throughout the world and is experienced in packaging project financing deals, often involving U.S. government loan guarantee programs. Since the early 1990s, Mr. Leboffe has developed tourism related projects and has established close business links between underdeveloped Southern Italy and the United States utilizing his experience in project finance, marketing, management and logistics.
