Holstein Canada's Board of Directors has elected Brian Leach, Cobden, Ontario as President for 2008.First elected to the Board in 1999, Brian has served on numerous committees, and has acted as Vice-President/Board Chairman for the last year.Graduating from the University of Guelph in 1973, Brian joined his father, Russell, as the fifth generation on the century farm in the Ottawa Valley.There, Brilea was established with the purchase of their first registered Holsteins.

Focusing on the maternal line of the pedigree, Brian and Erik are developing families of Regancrest Tesk Della (EX-90-6yr-USA DOM GMD), Gillette Blackstar Christiane (VG-88-4yr-CAN 37*), Braedale Gypsy Grand (VG-88-5yr-CAN 37*), and Quietcove Valiant Fawn (EX-95-2E-USA GMD DOM 10*).
