  The actual unveiling of the cow was fulfilled by Joe and Holstein Canada's Past-President, Brian Leach, Cobden, ON. Vice-President Glen McNeil, Goderich, ON and Executive Committee member Dale Strudwick, Balgonie, SK uncovered the calf.

  Outgoing President Brian Leach referred to his ten years as a Board member and President as an enriching journey. Representing the Association nationally and globally during the Association's 125 th year was a privilege.
  
  While the President relayed how proud he was of breeder, board, and staff accomplishments, he stated members will be faced with numerous challenges in future.

  on many health committees during his tenure, Brian identified animal health as being of significant importance throughout the dairy industry. He stressed that biosecurity procedures and Best Management Practices will become a way of life as national traceability becomes reality to maintain consumer confidence and to ensure global markets.
