Brett Leach is on the Board of CANEGROWERS Mackay and a Director of CANEGROWERS Queensland.

Brett serves on the Mackay Area Committee. Brett is married with two small children and he and his wife Julie farm the family farm with Brett's father Ernie in the Pleystowe Mill area. Brett is a third generation farmer, an active member of his local community and says his main loves are farming and football. For the last three years, Brett has been President of Western Suburbs Rugby League Football Club having served on the Committee for seventeen years. Brett is also a Director of the Mackay Rugby League and for the past twelve months, a Director of the new State League Team, the "Mackay Cutters."

Wests went down to Sarina 16-10 but were not discouraged by the result, club president Brett Leach said yesterday.
