Karen LeFevre, who holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Rhetoric, consults as an editor and communication coach, assisting at any point in the process of creating documents or presentations. She draws on more than 25 years' experience as a university faculty member (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Vermont) teaching a wide variety of classes in writing and speaking. Her editorial experience covers many fields (such as medicine, organization development, biography, technical communication, literature) and genres (nonfiction writing, oral presentations, grants, proposals, books, articles, resumes, brochures, online publications). Currently Karen is also a research associate professor (part-time) at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, doing research on patient education.
