The idea for a Beta Club began this school year after former Central Middle teacher Lorie LeDoux joined the Southwest staff as administrative assistant.

It was principal Judy Frank's idea to get one started, LeDoux said."When she told me she was interested we took the necessary steps and here we are," she said.
