When the company sold, "the Russell family realized that they risked being consumed by the business of managing wealth, rather than pursuing the ambitions that meant the most to them," said TTG President Ed Lazar.
To simplify the demands on time and energy, they created an office to serve the Russell family and The Russell Family Foundation.In addition to more traditional areas of wealth management, the staff took on challenges that ranged from handling Jane Russell's estate to overseeing construction of the 60,000-square-foot Russell Family Foundation Building in Gig Harbor, Washington, where TTG offices are housed.
As these services came together, the Russells "saw benefits in their lives and realized there was a business opportunity to reach families in similar situations," Lazar said.
