Noel Lawrence, SF-MASS Founder (groups.yahoo.com/group/sf-mass/) and filmmaker will be traveling to this year's American Film Market (AFM) to represent a few film projects.Noel plans to meet with buyers and distributors not only from Los Angeles, but also from around the world. Noel has professional negotiation experience (a law degree, professional, and character references). If you would like Noel to represent your project to distributors and buyers at AFM and would be willing to contribute $100 to $200 to defray his expenses contact him ASAP. (as stated on the AFM website, JUST the Access Badge alone costs $775 - so paying even $200 is a real deal).Noel promises to return with valuable feedback and will call you if an OFFER is made for your film or idea! High costs often exclude many independent filmmakers but you can bet that world-wide BUYERS with BIG BUCKS pay a lot to attend and they buy films on the spot.Such buyers visit from France, Germany, Scandinavia, and once the AFM is over they go home. Why not have them take your film or film idea with them?Or have your name in their head as a filmmaker to contact next year? Noel has committed to representing 2 projects (1 of which is not his own). While representing more projects could significantly cut his costs, unlike a big Hollywood "Player" Noel plans to represent no more than 8 projects so he can effectively represent each of them.Noel will represent your project just like you would - or perhaps even better! This is the perfect opportunity if you didn't make it to Sundance (more deals happen here than at Sundance anyway). If you are interested, then ASAP email your contact information (including a live phone number) to Noel at sunleight@webbox.com Also, if you already plan on attending AFM, let Noel know as he'd be happy to meet other Northern California filmmakers at the event. NOTE: Noel requires that you copyright all your materials before he represents them.
