  Referring to Luke 2:52, Pastor Ed said excellence should be seen in physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects of life.He also emphasized that the youth should not waste any opportunity to excel."Do not equate your youth with liability and weakness," he said.Instead, the youth should "know their gifts and follow someone gifted."

  The youth should also accept criticisms of intelligent persons to continuously sharpen their gifts.But Pastor Ed clarified that it takes experience and wisdom to develop the youth's gifts, and so they should invest more time in reading good books and getting engaged in healthy conversations.
  
  While youth excellence is deserved and demanded by God, the country, community and family also need it for nation building."The love for God is a love for the nation given by God," Pastor Ed said.
