A. Gregory Lang A. Gregory Lang of Hackettstown, N.J., died on June 7, 2002, in Escondido, Calif., at the age of 77. Born in Bayonne, N.J., he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Florence.He is also survived by a son, Richard, of Carlsbad; daughters Nancy Albano and Susan Martin of Randolph, N.J.; sisters Marilyn Sauchelli and Lois Janes of Denville, N.J.; and eight grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith. Mr. Lang was a 1948 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.Upon graduating from submarine school in New London, Conn., he served as an officer aboard the USS Corsair.After retiring from active duty, he worked for Kearfott-General Precision in New Jersey and North Carolina.Subsequently he founded Ceramic Magnetics, Inc., in Fairfield, N.J., where he served as the company's President and Chairman and was also President of Tranetics Inc. in Escondido. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 1147 Discovery Road in San Marcos today, June 11, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given in his memory to any favorite charity or can be sent to the United States Naval Academy Foundation, PO Box 64740, Baltimore, MD 21264-4740.
