   Prior to joining Northeastern University in September 1999, Professor Lane was at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada for 23 years.He was the Associate Editor of the Journal of International Business Studies for five years when it was located at Ivey.He has been a Visiting Professor at Groupe HEC in France, the Koblenz School of Corporate Management in Germany, the Helsinki School of Economics and Business administration in Finland and IPADE in Mexico.He teaches courses in Cross-Cultural Management, Valuing and Managing Diversity, and Organizational Renewal and Change.He is certified in the use of the Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) and is functional in Spanish.Professor Lane received his B.S. from the University of Massachusetts, MBA from Boston College and DBA in Organizational Behavior from the Harvard Business School.
   
   He has authored or co authored four books and numerous articles, and in the area of international business and cross-cultural management he has written over 70 case studies.
