Game Interview has put up an interview with Auran CEO Greg Lane on the AURAN Jet Operating Environment and the first game to utilize the engine, Harn : Bloodline.Here is a bit of info from the review :.

Greg Lane : There are indeed a whole bunch of 3D engines out there.In fact, one Web site lists thousands.it be difficult to compare AURAN Jet with 3D engines.As mentioned above, AURAN Jet is more akin to an Operating Environment.Additionally, AURAN Jet is in a different space to the 3D engines that spring to mind.The Quake and Unreal engines have dominated the first person shooter segment at a high price point.The AURAN Jet market is more focused on real-time strategy, role playing games, and adventure games utilising large, expansive, outdoor environments.
