Greg Lane is Manager of Technology and Innovation for Ausenco.Ausenco is currently installing a HPGR for the Bendigo Project in Victoria.Greg specialises in the design and assessment of base metal concentrators and his experience includes a long association with the Cadia project from design through on going development, as well as feasibility studies and design of numerous small and large plants.He managed most of the Boddington project HPGR and SAG mill testwork, that commenced in 1995, and participated in subsequent process design through to 2005.He has completed numerous studies on comminution circuit design, including the feasibility study process design for the Telfer grinding circuit.The evaluation of HPGR circuit options at benchscale and pilot scale has become an increasingly more common aspect of comminution circuit testwork at bench and pilot scale and his experiences will form the basis of the workshop.
