    Mr Greg Lane, currently Director of Strategic Industry Initiatives with the Queensland Department of Employment and Training will take up his position with the Queensland Resources Council in April.

    He will be responsible for QRC programs encompassing an education program for primary and secondary schools, careers awareness programs, the new Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy and growing interaction with tertiary education and training providers.

    Finally, a big welcome to QRC's new Education and Training Director, Greg Lane, who takes up this new role at QRC on 3 April.

    Greg comes to QRC having held very senior roles in the Queensland Department of Employment and Training, most recently as Director of Strategic Industry Initiatives.
