Keith is happy to be part of the Mid-Michigan community and the WNEM-5 family."Everyone has been really good to me, from people at work, to people I've met covering stories, to projects I've worked on in our community."Before moving to Michigan, Landry spent three-and-a-half years as a morning anchor and then weekend anchor in Columbia, South Carolina at WIS-TV.
Before that, Keith worked at television stations in Boise, Idaho; Lawton, Oklahoma and Carbondale, Illinois.Landry has been a television reporter for eleven years and a news anchor for ten years.He still loves this career."There's a new adventure every week.Sometimes you change stories you're working on within the same day."
Keith grew up near Boston.Michigan's four distinct seasons remind him of the New England weather.Landry enjoys traveling to Traverse City or Ann Arbor for a quick getaway.
Keith's interests include politics, history, education and exploring the Internet.He was thrilled to cover Election 2000.Landry covered the Democratic and Republican National Conventions and sat down with Al Gore for an exclusive interview.

Landry created the "Kids and Keith Read Program" to promote literacy in our area.Keith has made more than 75 visits to area schools since the program started two years ago.
Keith works with Saginaw County's Promise to raise awareness about how that group helps our teens and children.He is a board member for the Bridge Center for Racial Harmony.Keith also serves on the Junior Achievement of Northeast Michigan Excutive Board.Keith spent much of 1998 and 1999 helping to create a Junior Achievement Pilot Program for distance learning in South Carolina.
Keith has also served on the Senior Resources Executive Board in South Carolina and helped with its Meals On Wheels Program.He received the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Community Service Award in 1998 for his reporting on drinking and driving laws in South Carolina.
