   Denis Landry, formerly of Payton Construction, has taken over as Clerk-of-the Works and is working very closely with the Board and particularly John Doyle juggling the construction/engineering activities along with the expectations of Zurich Insurance, the City of Portland, and the historic preservation folks.

   Denis Landry, the company's president, said the four Mexicans worked for Roland's Drywall, one of the subcontractors on the project.
   
   Executives at Roland's Drywall didn't return phone messages last week from the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram.
   
   Roland's has won numerous drywall contracts with Payton, Landry said.
   
   Landry said he phoned one of the owners of Roland's Drywall after the incident, but didn't receive a return call.
   
   Meanwhile, Landry said, his project manager recently told him that the drywall company is on schedule at the school. Landry said he doesn't know who the subcontractor has hired to get the job done.
