Mr. Landry was born in New Orleans in 1963. He graduated cum laude from Nicholls State University in 1985, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 1988, Mr. Landry received a Juris Doctorate degree from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in college, he was inducted into the Nicholls State University Hall of Fame. While in law school, he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Labor Law and was a Finalist in the Flory Trial Competition.
Mr. Landry's practice involves primarily employment law and employment-related litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Committee on Employee Benefits, Section of Labor and Employment Law), the Louisiana State Bar Association (Labor and Employment Law Section), the Baton Rouge Bar Association (Continuing Legal Education Committee), the ABA Regional Committee for Liaison with the EEOC and OFCCP, the Louisiana Society for Human Resource Management, the Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management, the Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. (Legislative & Legal Rights Committee), and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (Employee Relations Council).
