Manufacturers' Services Ltd. (MSL, Concord, MA) has announced that Sam Landol has been appointed as its first president of Americas operations.As president, he will direct the company's sales and manufacturing operations throughout North America and play a critical role in MSL's expansion into key markets in Latin America.
Landol, 51, has built an international career in the electronics industry.He brings more than 28 years of senior management experience in building, managing and growing manufacturing and sales operations, including almost 15 years with Digital's operations in Puerto Rico and Latin America.Landol joins MSL from Nypro Inc., where he launched the company's global initiative in contract manufacturing to support leading OEMs, including Hewlett-Packard.He also served as president of Nypro Puerto Rico, where under his direction the division earned consistent recognition for outstanding customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Landol will oversee operations for MSL's manufacturing operations in Minnesota, North Carolina and Utah, as well as its customer-dedicated logistics sites in California, Tennessee and Virginia.He will work closely with the company's customers to ensure that MSL is well-positioned to support evolving needs, while meeting demand for a highly flexible and responsive manufacturing partner.Landol will be based in Concord, MA and report to Robert Donahue, president of MSL.
