Acting Superintendent Dave Landis said Friday it doesn't matter that the group is a religious organization because the event is not school-sponsored and the district isn't endorsing any particular religious view.
"They are being treated like any other organization," he said.
Nonetheless, Landis said officials could look into revising policies for renting facilities, particularly when it comes to renting to organizations from outside the Quakertown district.
"We could look at who gets to use the facility, what's a fair fee, how long should we be tying up the facilities and how use of the facilities affects the instructional program during the week," he said.
Landis said the district could consider increasing the $250 fee for future renters.
