Marie Lancup is Principal Consultant of James Lambert Consulting , a company she established in 1993.
Marie is a charismatic, entrepreneurial leader, corporate strategist, skilled communicator, and effective negotiator with 25 years experience in senior and board level positions for multi-nationals and start-ups.
She has gained international experience across a broad range of industries with a particular focus on Finance, Logistics, e-fulfilment [FMCG], Organic Fresh Food Manufacturing [FMCG], Consulting Services, and SMEs (having founded and developed a number of these).
This has provided Marie with the ability to swiftly understand the challenges and inner workings of a business, to identify potential opportunities and/or develop solutions that deliver value to its bottom line.
A capable leader, she can also be hands-on when the situation demands it.
Additionally, living and working in several countries has provided Marie with a good understanding of various cultures and work ethics.
In 2004, Marie launched Change Facilitators, a Division of James Lambert Consulting which uses a holistic approach to ensure business change programmes deliver measurable value.
Organisational development, the application of business-driven IT, joint teams, and the Change Facilitators Structured Change Process™ (CFSCP™) underpin the services offered.
Marie developed the CFSCP ™ through a combination of many years of hands-on experience in a wide variety of contexts and research of best-practice.
Marie is a member of the Strategic Planning Society, and was a founder member of UK Merseyside group The Sounding Board [established to provide advice, assistance, & investment to Small & Medium-sized companies in England's North West].
She has worked as an independent consultant and Interim Manager since 1999.

Marie moved from France to the UK in November 1993 to set up her own IT Services consultancy following a 6 month sabbatical.
Successfully meeting the challenges of this highly competitive new cultural environment, with no prior contacts, she established James Lambert Consulting to deliver Data Warehousing and Management Information Systems (MIS) solutions to the Finance Sector, developed a portfolio of clients, and built a team of mature business-focused IT managers and developers to work on projects.
...
Prior to this, in 1986 Marie became a Director and Co-founder of a Canadian IT consulting firm for the Finance and Technology sectors.
She was instrumental in establishing the company in Paris (France) and in it's continued growth.
Rapidly progressing from Principal Consultant to VP Sales & Marketing, in a little over 3 years she achieved six-fold growth to $9M despite increasingly difficult market conditions.
Marie first entered IT consultancy in 1981, successfully managing a large number of technical change projects in Finance, Transport, Utilities, and Manufacturing.
Upon graduating with a First-class Honours B.Sc. degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada), Marie joined Bell Canada Corporate Systems , a world leader in telecommunications, first in the role of Data Base Advisor and Architect, and subsequently as Systems Engineer (on IBM mainframes).
