A.J. began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1965 working with Ansco Well Service.From there he went to Tipton Well Service, working as a rig superintendent and drilling superintendent and finally being made COO before he left in 1978 to start his own well servicing company, Mercy Well Service.Mercy had contracts with Texaco, Mobil, Sun Oil, Amoco and several independents for drilling and completion work.This company was sold in 1984 and A.J. started Laird Faith Energy, an energy consulting company, drilling and completing new wells for independent companies.In 2005 he began working with Flat Rock Energy Company, bringing with him 40 years of experience in oil field operations.
