Connie Lafferty, the chamber's member services coordinator, said she was happy with the result at the event's conclusion.

"I'm glad everybody had a good time.We had a great crowd, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.The vendors were thrilled with it, too," she said.

Connie joins the Chamber staff with extensive experience in Human Resources and Management Information Systems from Weirton Steel.She has a B.S.B.A. degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.Recently, she has been teaching part-time at St. Paul's Elementary School and Jefferson County Community College.

Connie and her late husband Chuck were proprietors of the "Steadfast Tin Soldier" toy and novelty store on Weirton Heights until early 2002.
