Liu joined Caguas Mayor William Miranda Marin, Puerto Rico Department of Housing Secretary Ileana Echegoyen, and Puerto Rico Public Housing Administration (PRHA) Administrator Carlos Laboy for the signing outside the Gautier Benitez public housing development.

U.S. Housing and Urban Development Assistant Secretary Michael Liu joined Ileanna Echegoyen, Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of Housing and Carlos Laboy, Administrator of the Puerto Rico Public Housing Administration to recognize the historic event.

"These funds will allow us to start rehabilitation work on 8,250 units in 44 public housing complexes around the island," said Carlos G. Laboy, administrator of the Public Housing Administration.
