Alan Krulisch will represent the Hospice Regatta of Maine, which thisyear will be held on July 20 at Southwest Harbor, Mt. Desert Island. The regatta benefits Hospice of Hancock County.
Alan was introduced to sailing as a midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academyin the late 1950s.He started in a Sailfish, and over his sailingcareer has progressed (big surprise) to successively larger boats.
He has raced his current boat, the Cambria 40 Crackerjack , from Chesapeake Bay to Maine where he is a summer resident.Over a span of 12 years Crackerjack has won races on

Overall, Alan has skippered a total oftwelve races to Bermuda, from either Marion or Newport, and collectedhardware in six of these races.
