Armin Krug, 41, is the new head of the German desk in the assurance and advisory division of Pricewaterhouse­Coopers in Hungary. He joined the local operations of the company as an audit partner and his main responsibility is to develop the firm's German-speaking client base. After graduating from the University of Frankfurt in 1987, Krug started his professional career at now defunct audit and advisory firm Arthur Andersen in Frankfurt.He joined Andersen's Budapest office in 1996, and was promoted to audit partner in 1998. Krug is married with two children.Besides his native German, he speaks fluent English and decent Hungarian.He is a certified public accountant and tax advisor in Germany, and a member of the audit and tax chamber and the Institute of Public Accountants in Germany. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking and flying sport planes.
