Olga Kronsteiner was born in Graz in 1967.She studied History of Art as well as Journalism and Communications Science.Since 1993 she has worked as a free-lance journalist in the culture and art departments of Die Welt, Antiquitätenzeitung, Weltkunst (Germany), Der Standard, Wirtschaftswoche, Trend (Austria).

Post-graduate study at the University of Applied Arts (1998) with Prof. Dr. Manfred Wagner.

Olga Kronsteiner specialises in late 19th century and 20th century art, research on Werkstätte Hagenau, Walter Bosse and the history of design.
