At the Bristol and Cardiff events, plugincinema.com's Ana Kronschnabl was on the pannel as part of the discussion. In a review of the event in Bristol entitled 'Cinema at the Watershed' Phil Ashby wrote of Ana's presentation,"[she] discussed her first experiences of using the Internet to view films, which she found disappointing."It was good for trailers and short films, but better when used as a new medium, with interaction."The challenge, in her view, is to find a film form that is compatible with the way the Internet is used.Kronschnabl believes DV has the potential to democratize the film industry but the biggest barriers are not technical, rather, they are old-fashioned attitudes within the industry."
