Bill Kronschnabel Bill Kronschnabel has been the commissioner of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association since April 2002. He also served as the NCHA Supervisor of Officials from 1998 to 2005.
Kronschnabel had been a collegiate hockey official for over 25 years. During his career, he has worked the NCHA and MIAC Championships and the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Kronschnabel is the chair of the NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Committee. He is also the head rules clinician for the Minnesota State High School League and a member of the National Federation Ice Hockey Rules Committee. He played college hockey at St. Mary's, Minn., University from 1967-71.
He resides in St. Paul and is a partner in the law firm of Kampmeyer, Kronschnabel, Bader & Daly. -

ST. PAUL, Minnesota, United States - Longtime NCAA Division III supervisor of officials Bill Kronschnabel recently announced his retirement.

Kronschnabel stepped down after 15 years heading the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's officiating to devote more time as president and commissioner of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association - which also competes at the Division III level.
"I am honored to have been able to serve as the supervisor of officials all these years, and thank the coaches, conference administrators and the officials for all their support and respect," he said.
