Adam Krinsky advises communications companies, equipment manufacturers, and trade associations on strategic, policy, and regulatory matters before the Federal Communications Commission and the Administration.
Mr. Krinsky's practice principally involves spectrum matters, wireless and satellite policy, and media issues.
Mr. Krinsky joined Wilkinson Barker in 2002 after five years at the FCC, where he held several senior positions.
From 1999-2001, he served as Legal Advisor and then Senior Legal Advisor to FCC Commissioner Gloria Tristani.
In that position, he advised the Commissioner on spectrum-related matters, including wireless and emerging technologies, as well as international telecommunications and satellite issues.
Later, Mr. Krinsky served as Special Counsel to the FCC's General Counsel, focusing on broadband policy and spectrum matters, as well as homeland security issues.
He began his career at the FCC in the International Bureau, where he served first as an attorney and then as Senior Legal Advisor to the Bureau Chief.
In that capacity, he provided counsel on international telecommunications, including WTO implementation and foreign market-entry issues, and Internet-related matters.
Mr. Krinsky is active in the Federal Communications Bar Association.
He has served as co-chair of the Wireless Telecommunications Practice Committee and has co-chaired the annual Communications Law 101 seminar.
Mr. Krinsky received an A.B. in History with honors from Brown University and a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
