Alisha Kothari

Alisha Kothari is an incoming freshman at Moorestown High School.She shows a tremendous appreciation for the arts in every form- singing, acting, drawing and, above all, dance.During the past school year she had been involved in many extra curricular activities.She played the role of Gwendolyn Fairfax in Moorestown High School's fall play production of The Importance of Being Earnest and also participated in the spring musical, Aida.She is a member of the debate team, sings in her school choir and pitches for her school softball team.She also volunteers her time by assistant directing the middle school musical.Before singing in the school chorus, Alisha played the violin for six years.Along with that, Alisha held a position on the student council as Freshman Class Officer, a natural transition from her standing as President of her middle school student council.Alisha has dedicated every spare moment her schedule allowed to dance practice.

Alisha is a student of South Jersey's Payal Dancing School, where she learns the Indian dance form, Bharatnatyam.

Alisha will perform her Arangetram on Saturday, July 19th at the Walter K. Gordon Theater at Rutgers, Camden.
