    Jacqueline Kook, Associate Director.

Jacqueline joins PPH with a range of experience in education and the arts that comes from teaching, program management, and policy research. Jacqueline graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Public Policy and Dance, and a commitment to matching deserving youth with a fair and quality education. Jacqueline used her experiences in developing leadership and mentoring programs for women of color and performance choreography to teach English at an under-resourced all girls' school in South Korea. When she returned to the U.S., she managed and taught the Active Learning Leads to Literacy program at Leap, forging partnerships with the Department of Education, public school teachers, artists, and cultural institutions. Jacqueline firmly believes the creative arts and multiple literacies can engage all kinds and ages of learners to forge a participatory education. She employs this whether she is facilitating radio journalism, early childhood movement, or fitness classes. Jacqueline is a member of the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum and the recipient of a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship.
