Mrs. Kohman was born in Glen Ridge.She lived in Montclair, Verona and Shawnee on the Delaware, Pa., before moving to Hackettstown.

She was a 1944 graduate of The Kimberley School (now Montclair Kimberley Academy).She was a member of the Elks Club of Stroudsburg, Pa.She was also a member of the Woman's Club of Upper Montclair, the Classic Car Club of America, and the Jaguar Owners Club.

Mrs. Kohman was predeceased in 1997 by her husband Vic Kohman.
