Robert Koch, also from Chicago, is renowned for his watercolors depicting the Irish countryside.He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.He has studied art at the University of Illinois, the Art Institute of Chicago, the American Academy of Art, Boston Mills Workshop in Ohio, the Palette and Chisel Academy in Chicago, the Scottsdale Artists School and the Naperville Art League.Robert is a signature member of multiple watercolor societies including: The American Watercolor Society, the Kentucky Watercolor Society, the Red River Watercolor Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society & the Missouri Watercolor Society.

Bob Koch writes that he received his AWS (American Watercolor Society) letters last spring.Now he has signature status which means he can put the letters AWS after his name.Bob has had paintings accepted in the American Watercolor Society 134th Annual International Exhibition, the 25th Midwest Watercolor Society Annual National Exhibition of Transparent Watercolor, Watercolor National 1st Juried Exhibition, the Northwest Watercolor Society Waterworks 2001, and the 2001 U. S. Coast Guard Art Program accepted a painting for their show/collection.Robert Koch, AWS is a featured artist at the Deer Path Gallery in Lake Forest, IL. During the month of February 2002, he will be featured at the DuPage Art League, 218 West Front Street, Wheaton, IL.
