Green Bay, Wis. -- April Kobishop, RN, Peshtigo, graduated from UW-Green Bay with a bachelor's degree in nursing.Kobishop received her degree with fellow classmates at UW-Green Bay Dec. 17.She completed her degree over the Internet after a two-year "journey" which included working full-time as a travel nurse and living in four different states.She was also recognized as the UWGB Alumni Association's Outstanding Student Award recipient for her graduating class.

Kobishop started the BSN completion program at UWGB following her graduation from Bay De Noc Community College with an associate degree in Nursing.

Kobishop was nominated for the Outstanding Student Award by Associate Professor Mimi Kubsch and Professor Derryl Block, Chairperson of the Professional Program in Nursing and Director of BSN-LINC, the national online program.
