Stuart Knox left the University of Strathclyde with a BSc first class honours in Mining Engineering and has worked within the mining engineering field in an entrepreneurial and business capacity for over 20 years.
Stuart worked for Shell in various capacities for 9 years then joined the fledgling firm Ecodrill Ltd of Aberdeen as their Technical director. He helped the company to obtain a £5 million turnover within an 18-month period. He moved on to invest in Expro Group [1991-95], Telinco plc [1997-2000] and CEDAR International plc [1997-2000], becoming director of each organisation.
As a serial entrepreneur and business angel, Stuart has the Midas touch. Stuart continues to invest in new businesses and takes an entrepreneurial role in many of them. -
