Helen Sheffield Knox, 73, of Jackson Springs died Sunday (March 24, 2002) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Graveside services were to be held on Wednesday (today) at 11 a.m. at Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Hill officiating.

She was born and raised in Moore County bur worked for many years as an accountant for the Mitre Corp. in Burlington, Mass.Some of her favorite pastimes include crocheting and creating ceramic pieces.
