    Gwen is based in Broome in the State's Kimberley region.She is heavily involved in many facets of the arts and cultural industries, notably for her work in performing arts and community arts projects.She is a former Chairperson of Community Arts Network WA's (CANWA) Catalyst Fund Panel and is a current Board Member of CANWA.Gwen is also a former employee of the Department of Culture and the Arts, as the inaugural Coordinator for the ArtsEdge Program in the Kimberley region.Major roles that Gwen has occupied include Artistic Director for Worn Art and Artistic Director for the Shinju Matsuri Festival.Gwen has also had extensive experience in community based activities including festival float building, puppeteer, musician and community theatre, in the areas of writing, direction and facilitation.Gwen has worked all around Australia - and has spent significant amounts of time working with remote Indigenous communities on a range of projects.
