To judge the candidates' quality of service, a committee member walked into a branch office at each credit union and posed as a prospective member, according to First Napa CEO Cherie Knox, who is now Redwood's Napa branch manager.

"You can walk into a financial institution, and you know good customer service when you receive it," said Ms. Knox.

"We are extremely excited to bring this free financial education event to the Napa community," said Cherie Knox, Manager of Redwood Credit Union's Napa Branch. "Everyone can benefit from learning money management, particularly in today's economy, where every dollar saved matters," Knox added.

Ryan Gregory of Riechers & Spence Associates, Cherie Knox of Redwood Credit Union, Jackie Danielsson of Comcast and Lloyd Llewelyn of Coombs & Dunlap joined the Napa Chamber of Commerce board.

CHERIE KNOX Treasurer, is the AVP Regional Branch Manager for Redwood Credit Union. She has 25 years experience in the credit union industry, acting as the CEO of First Napa Federal Credit Union (now Redwood CU). Cherie has served on the North Bay Chapter of the California Credit Union League and is a graduate of Leadership Napa Valley.

The Napa credit union has 3,500 members, and CEO Cherie Knox said the organization needed to merge to effectively expand services to its members.
