With a combined bid of less than $60 , 000 to get the system up and running , the project fell within the House budget.The price included support from Intelligent Solutions but did not include the cost of the hardware and software that was purchased through the company.

By using off-the-shelf programs rather than trying to construct a customized database , Information Strategies and Intelligent Solutions saved the committee a vast amount of time and money.And the database is helping the committee achieve its goal.

Several other committees have expressed interest in establishing similar databases , and Knotts said that the process would be even cheaper , as the bulk of the development is already complete.Each database could be simply customized to meet the different committees' needs.
