Steven Knoll has joined Aragon Construction, a general contracting and construction management firm based in New York, as chief estimator.

ARAGON APPOINTS STEVEN C. KNOLL AS CHIEF ESTIMATOR

NEW YORK - In yet another high-profile appointment, Aragon Construction has named Steven C. Knoll -- a construction industry veteran with more than 15 years' estimating experience -- Chief Estimator.

In this capacity, Knoll, 42, will reorganize current staff, in addition to augmenting and supervising the estimating department, ultimately ensuring that all bids are sent to clients expeditiously and accurately.He will also act as a purchasing agent on Aragon's behalf, securing subcontractor assignments.

Knoll has worked for, and piloted, some of the largest interior construction firms in Manhattan since 1992.Most recently, he served as Senior Estimator at ICC.Prior to that, he spent four years at James G. Kennedy as Senior Estimator.

Knoll earned a BS in Economics and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.He presently resides in Old Bethpage, New York.

Steve has recently joined the Kennedy firm, bringing over a decade of construction management and general contracting experience to his present position.He has a broad range of experience in both estimating and project management.He is responsible for estimating jobs ranging in size from $10,000 to $100,000,000.His estimating skills are exceptional from the bidding of a project to the purchasing of jobs; he gets the work done on time and within the budget.

Prior to joining James G. Kennedy & Co., Inc., Steve was employed by a major New York City contracting company.He has worked on projects such as: Banque Paribas, Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Dewey Ballantine, Davis Polk & Wardwell, Paine Weber, etc.

He is a graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree.

I also want to mention the superb efforts of your Estimator Steve Knoll whose upfront work and knowledge of the project resulted in very few change orders; and if there were any different conditions we were notified immediately so we had time to decide our course of action.
