    The force of the crash pushed the sedan over Knoll, who was wearing a helmet, police said.Another deputy and three witnesses lifted the car off Knoll, who was also taken to Thomason Hospital.

    Knoll, who was wearing a helmet and a bulletproof vest, received a broken pelvis, wrists and leg and other broken bones when his motorcycle ran into the back of a car, which ended atop him because of the impact, sheriff's officials said.Another deputy and three witnesses lifted the car off Knoll.

    Perea said Knoll had hip surgery Friday morning and will require more operations.
