Samson B. Knoll Ph.D.

Samson B. Knoll , Ph.D. , a historian and humanist , is Professor Emeritus of History and Chancellor Emeritus of the Monterey Institute of International Studies.He is also Vice President Emeritus of the International School of Information Management.Educated at the universities of Berlin and Paris , he received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Colorado and a Ph.D. from Stanford University.He is Honorary President of the International ( J.G. ) Herder Society , a scholarly society based in the U.S. He has been honored by the Monterey County Chapter of the American Civil liberties Union with the chapter's Francis Heisler Award.
