Monty Knight Monty comes from WXMI-TV, the Fox affiliate in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Before that, Monty worked for NBC affiliate WBBH in Fort Myers, Fla., where he anchored the noon and evening news.He began his broadcasting career as a weekend anchor at KWHY-TV in Los Angeles, Calif., then became morning co-host for KCOP-TV's community affairs show, "In Studio", in Los Angeles.
He has also held positions as the L.A. bureau chief of the Philippine News; anchor and reporter at KMIR-TV in Palm Springs, Calif.; and reporter/weekend anchor at KMPH-TV in Fresno, Calif.
Knight was born and raised in Los Angeles, where most of his very large family still resides.Knight attended Brigham Young University, where he majored in Political Science and Psychology.He attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles for one year before leaving to begin the professional certificate program in Broadcast Journalism at UCLA.
Monty is a certified swift water rescue tech who enjoys a wide variety of water sports.He is also an avid boxing and martial arts fan and former competitor, but his proudest achievement is being the father of five healthy, happy children along with wife Dina.
