Monty comes from WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, Fla., where he anchored the noon and evening news.

He began his broadcasting career as an anchor at KWHY-TV in Los Angeles, Calif., then became morning co-host at KCOP-TV in L.A.

He has also held positions as the L.A. bureau chief of the Philippine News ; anchor and reporter at KMIR-TV in Palm Springs, Calif. ; and weekend anchor at KMPH-TV in Fresno, Calif.

Knight has a bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young University, and he be completed the Professional Certificate Program in broadcast journalism at the University of California-Los Angeles.

Volunteers to date include Wakefield High's Principal Steve Takcas, Larry Stogner ABC, Cary High School's Michael Citrini, Mark Roberts WRAL, Ravenscroft's Principal Dr. Jim Ledyard, Bob Dumas From Bob & Madison on G105 and Monty Knight from NBC.
