Mr. Knight is a partner in the Tax Section at Williams Mullen where his practice is focused on complex commercial tax and fiduciary litigation, condemnation law, estate planning and administration, and securities arbitration.He earned his bachelor of arts and juris doctor degrees from The College of William & Mary.Shortly there-after, he entered the U.S. Air Force as a judge advocate and served on active duty for three years and in the reserves for 27 years, completing his career with the rank of colonel, USAFR.In the1960s, he practiced in the law firm of Doumar, Pincus, Anderson & Knight (later known as Knight, Dudley, Dezern & Clarke).In 1998, he became a principal in the firm of Hofheimer Nusbaum, P.C., which merged with Williams Mullen in 2004.Mr. Knight practices out of the firm's Norfolk office.
