MIDLOTHIAN -- Laura Kluge of Amery, Wis., and Tyler Turner of Athens, Ga., have been selected for P.J. Boarwright internships in golf administration, the VSGA has announced.

In their capacity, Kluge will be serving the VSGA Women's Division, while Turner will be assisting the VSGA Foundation, including helping with junior initiatives at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian.

A senior at Minnesota State University-Mankato, Kluge is a member of the Mavericks golf team, has previously worked in golf administration at Amery Golf Course in Amery, Wisc., and has been involved in summer golf camps at MSU-Mankato.A finance major, Kluge is actively involved in community outreach and campus-wide extracurricular activities as a member of the MSU finance club and she co-chairs its fundraising committee.Kluge has also worked in the e-mentoring program with Federated Insurance.With the VSGA, she will be responsible for helping with women's tournament administration and assisting with the development of junior golf statewide during the three-to-four month internship.
